Question on Model 7 6mm build options

I have a model 7 6mm that was my first deer rifle. Im wondering if I can use the action to build a 6 dasher or a 6br with it. Or is the action even worth messing with? I could always rebarrel it with a longer 1 in 8 or 7.5 and just shoot it.
Next question would be value of that same rifle new in box unfired. It is not for sale just curious of the value. Thanks!

Had my builder ODCR (WSMNUT) here on the site custom build my Predator Model 7 and re-barrel to a 30BR. No regrets period. Love it as it is my Hunter but shoots almost like a bench rifle.

I have a few different calibers in model 7's and no more problems than using a 700 action..
NIB around here is close to $1000.00

I had a model seven that was originally a .260 Rem. I put a Bartlein 3b at 22" on it and turned it into a 6BR Coyote rig. I run the 87gr Bergers in it and feeds and functions just fine with the factory set up. I read where people have lots of trouble feeding a 6br from a standard mag but mine works just fine. Maybe I got lucky idk. If you went 6GT that may eliminate any feeding problems you may have. 6XC is also worth looking at.

The M7 is a better action ?? ‍ then the M700 as it has a 1/8 “ longer load port but nearly a half inch shorter body with still the same 2.8 “ mag box . Should be stiffer then a M700 .
perfect action for a lot of short cartridges including the 22-6-6.5 Creedmoors .
I have one each in 6 and 6.5 Creeds . JMO
