Question on 4D Reamer Rental's Reamers

Does anyone here have experience with renting reamers thru 4D? Are their reamers live pilots or solid? I've also noticed that the freebore isn't listed on many of their reamers, so I'm assuming they're either zero or min freebore. I've tried calling & emailing them, with no luck (as expected considering its Christmas week).

Personally, I would order my own reamer, design it the way you want, use it, then sell it...

So, let say that you call JGS, they help you through the project design, use the reamer for your custom project. Next deduct $50 from their price(minus postage), sell that reamer on this site, and it will be gone in less than 12 hours, probably less than 2 hours. JGS has a 6-8 week wait, that is not a lying hopeful best case delivery date, it is an actual delivery date.

I have used them for a dozen projects that only required SAAMI spec. He has quite a few including some match units. Reamers were sharp and in good condition. He replaces them on a regular basis. He is very good on the phone, try him after the New Year. Very knowledgeable gunsmith who knows his stuff and what he stocks. Rentals are for a seven day period (starting upon receipt, ending when shipped). Be sure and get the G0/No-Go gauges obviously.

My gunsmith has used them for a handful of my hunting and varmint rifle projects. He uses them regularly for all SAAMI cartridge builds. Kinda convenient for my gunsmith since his shop is right next door to 4D Reamer Rentals

All my rifles cut with 4D reamers shoot great. No complaints.
