Question on 22 Tyler

I recently bought a lilja barrel dies loading info and brass for a 22 tyler it is based on a necked down 6.5 x 55 swede case I believe it is also known as a 22 vias any one heard of these ? as of now shooting a 80 gr. sierra hpbt match no pressure at 3630fps throwing darts I love this barrel . Would like more info on the wildcat though thanks .

George Vias was a Greek immigrant that got here in the late 70's or early 80's. I knew him from his shops in Houston and his time out a Greater Houston Gun Club. He was a trained cabinet maker by trade and a master wood worker. He starded making his brakes while in Houston. He moved to Idaho (I think) because of his alergies. While there he developed the wildcats off the 6.5x55. The 6mmVias was one of the better ones, but according to articles (I think in Precision Shooting) the brass forming was not easy.
After several years he sold the name Vias and his design for brakes to a gunsmith in San Antonio, then moved back to Greece to be an artist. That didn't pay too well so he came back and tried to go back to making muzzel brakes. That venture resulted in a lawsuit with the SA gunsmith he had sold the rights to. I don't know where he is now.
