Question on 130 hybrids for 6.5 Bergers

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the 130 Berger hybrids for hunting. I'm looking @ them because I can load them to my magazine for my 260 Rem. I'm shooting 130 VLD's but can't get optimum accuracy because of the mag box length. Bought some Hybrids because they may fit but not sure they are good for hunting. Like to hear if anyone has any experience with them for hunting. Thanks Rick

Rick, I have used Hybrids exclusively for hunting in various calibers over the past few years (6mm 105's, 6.5 140's, .30 215's & 230's). I've had outstanding performance on game (mostly deer, 4 large boar, and a few bobcats) with Hybrids from distances as close as 75 yds out to 704 yds. I am confident that the 130's will work just as well. I will be using them myself this season in a 6.5x47 Lap.

The 130 hybrids will work fine for hunting. Here is a good video of 130 hybrids doing work.

The 6.5 130gr AR/OTM/HYBRID/TARGET/HUNTING bullet (the full name of the round) can be used for hunting.
