I have loaded several BR calibers, 6mmBR, 6.5x284BR, 30cal.BR as well as 6.5 Grendel and been fairly successful. I have recently purchased a 6mmPPC BR Rifle for 100yd. club BR league. I purchased some finished 6mm PPC cases trimmed for a no neck trim chamber(which is what my rifle has). Everything fits well.... so I decided to load the cases and I noticed most of the popular loads (for the two powders I use, VVn133 & 8208XBR) 28.0grs and above for n133 and 28.8grs and above for the 8208XBR. I have found the following, with n133 a full case is 27.2grs, and with 8208XBR a full case is 28.2rs.
I will start out 10% below the favorites to be safe but is it true that these favorite loads are all compressed? With the case full how do I get a load of 28.2grs(a low end favorite) of n133 or 28.8grs (a favorite for 8208XBR) of 8208XBR in the case?
Some additional facts:
All cases were made by Ron Hoehn and fit perfectly in my Wilson case guage.
My scale is a Hornady digital which was calibrated after the first full case was noted!
I would like to use a 69gr FB match Berger bullets
Has anyone else had this problem?
