Question for QuickLoad users

I purchased Quickload a while ago, and honestly haven't played with it too much.
I was loading for my 6XC the other night, so I pulled up quickload and entered my rifle data, and load data.
I measured the water capacity of the cases, and entered everything as accurately as I can see. I do notice however that I can't get Quickload to match my actual (measured with 2 different chrono's) velocities.
The current load for example, Quickload shows a velocity of 3040 with 105 Scenar L's and my actual velocities are 3130 fps.

No big deal, but just wondering if there is something I am missing in the setup, or if the results commonly aren't close on the velocity readings.

There are many variables in play and QL has default values which are a necessary compromise. Try adjusting the Ba (Burning Rate Factor) to match your measured velocity. That will give you a value that should be good for that component combination. If you change any component, you will likely need to adjust it again. Be sure to record the Ba value and specific components that comprised the load.
