Question for older guys, American Rifleman magazine

The hay day of the outdoor writher is fading fast thanks to the internet. We still have some good writers with us but they are retiring fast. Barness is simi-retired and others are as well. There's not a lot that interests me these days as there was 40+ years ago when I bought my life membership in the NRA. I've learned quite a lot since then. I do not think the NRA it's as an effective spokesman for shooting as it once was. It is sad that the NRA didn't support Kyle Rittenhouse but I'm glad an organization did.
I don't think people read as much as they once did. I know my son and grandkids don't. The internet has taken the place of books and magazines. I can't give away my copies of magazines. I used to like the dope bag and this old gun. I guess I'm getting old.

I paid 200.00 for my life membership in the 70s,. Competed in high-power in 90s, then I got a new 16 digit membership card...I only recognize my old number.
I've had all three magazines at one time or the other...only two I will pay for is fur fish n game, and backwoodsman.

I quickly scan it for anything of interest to me. Seldom do I find it.
Too many ads and pleas for money.
I get tired of "the sky is falling" theam of
the executive writings. And most of all, Wayne is as corrupt as Washington.
