Question for David Tubb??

David,
I have a 6XC with your first generation brass. I am using 38grs of H-4350 with the bare Sierra 107s. This is the load the gun seems to like but the problem is about a 1/4 of my brass will show pressure with an ejector mark on the case head. I am "NOT" getting stiff extraction with these cases.

The other problem I am having is when shooting over a cronograph I will get three in a row with one to three feet in variation then get one that will jump 30 to 50ft per sec.

I am also getting some really great groups at 600yds the some unexplained bad groups. Do you have any thoughts on this?? All the brass weighed the same and I cleaned the necks with a light neck turn taking about 3/4s of the neck. Thanks!!!

The first run of 6XC brass has a case head than the subsequent runs.
This occasionaly results in seeing the ejector mark on the case head, from a softer head).
As far as the chronograph variations - I would ream the flash holes to .080" on a few and see if that didnt fix it.
Groups at 600 yards - I shot several sub 3" groups,10 shots) when I got the first lot of this brass.
Could be your velocity excursions could be the problem with your 600 yard accuracy.
Are you weighing you powder charges?
Are you using H4350 powder?

David,
Yes, I am using H4350 and I am weighing each load out to exactly 38grs. I tried backing it down to 37.5 an 37grs but it does not seem to like those loads. What did you use for a max load in yours with naked bullets?? I am using a Federal primer and a friend suggested going to a CCI 450 mag primer an try those in it. You have any ideas on that??? Thanks appreciate the thoughts
