I think Boyd your getting a lot of input from that don't meet your requirements to respond ..... I don't know of any short range or long range bench rest competitor that doesn't do it any other way than feel.... jim

I did, sorry. I know of a couple but its up to those guys if they want to say.
Seating by feel has done us very well. I still have a couple of the original Lee seaters that are about wore out but Id say more records have been set with those than any. I do like the 21st century for "feel" the best.

by using a hand primer and by feel.

Not a record holder but I think I've been doing this longer than most, I seat by feel to make sure they don't feel loose going in but I also measure to see that they are around 6 to 8 thousands deep.

Well Boyd I have a question. A lot of us listen and take your advice on many things. And thank you very much. But for future reference have you set any National records?
