Question for 6BR shooters using 65 to 68 grain bullets and xmr 8208

where have you found, velocity wise, your best 5 shot grouping with this powder and cci 450 primers? If you would, give barrel make, length and seating depth into the lands if possible. Tks

i think you need to do more research. try looking at equipment lists from major matches.
while the 6br is used it is not a major player.
while the modern 8208 is used it is not a major player
i have never used 450s in short range br

Thanks, but I don't trust equipment lists. I shoot competitive benchrest and know how many treat equipment lists. In the score br realm, 6BR's are scarcer than hens teeth. In the group br they are virtually nonexistent.

It's in the right speed range to be a good option. I've used it but it's been a while and n135 was better for me, so I can't offer any data for you but it's certainly worthy of giving a try in your bbl. It's a great powder if your gun will shoot it well.

Here’s my 6BR shooting Bart’s 68gr Averages. It liked the 3420-3450 range for velocity in this Krieger barrel at 26 inches. This is a 5 shot group at 200 yards.

N135 works well also. Here’s a 5 shot group at 200 yards same gun and barrel as the previous post. 8208 won out in this Krieger barrel.

As long as I am wearing my gloves it shoots pretty well. Lol

On a serious note I have found the 6BR and 68gr Averages are a very good combo. My PPC will out agg it at 100 and 200, but at 300 and 400 the BR starts to take over.
