Question F-Class sling and Service rifle scopes

Two questions:
1- FTR class rifle, can one use a rifle sling along with a BIPOD attached. I assume shoot like a regular sling shooter but add a BIPOD to the front?

2- M-110 service rifle, can I use a 1-4.5 power scope in regular HP competition as a service rifle in NRA matches. Also what about an adjustable stock like the AR-15?

#1 is yes. You can use a bipod AND sling for FTR if you wish. The sling must be included in the overall weight of 18.18 lbs.

Per my same question to NRA Competitions as well as on this forum, the answer is "Yes". Under the 2017 NRA rules addendum, 3.1 "Equipment" the 4.5x optic applies to all service rifles.
