Question concerning the soon to be released Lapua 6Dasher Brass.

Is there any info on the neck length. Will it be like the Norma, or keep the same shorter neck that is common?

The reason I ask is I am going to chamber a PRS barrel for a friend and he has been using Lapua 6 BR as the parent case. My reamer is a .270 neck, (he will lightly turn them), with a .135 throat with the standard Dasher over all length.

As far as I have read the brass should be based on the older dasher with short neck .240 length about. Sounds like your chamber above will be excellent choice. Good luck.

He has been shooting the 109 Berger in his old barrel. I figure the .135 throat should be about right.

He would also like the option of shooting the Barts 103 Hammer. My fried Ed shoots the Barts in this same chamber. I am not sure how close the boat tail to shank junction on the 109 Berger will come to the neck shoulder junction in the case. I will have to check that.
