I've run into a conundrum regarding my Sinclair priming too. Mine is a stainless steel tool that I bought maybe 10 years or so ago. I have used it with the head that takes Lee shell holders, and I have several shell holders for different cases.
Recently, I ordered a couple of Sinclair heads that are one-piece--i.e., not requiring a separate Lee shell holder. They seemed better than the heads I've been using. When I received the heads from Sinclair (Brownell's) they would not thread into the body of my priming tool. The threads are slightly different from those on the head I've been using (with the Lee shell holders). However, when I look at the Brownell's webpage with the priming tool, my tool looks exactly like the current stainless tool they are selling (and which, presumably takes the one-piece heads).
So can anyone here clarify this puzzle for me? Did Sinclair change their stainless steel priming tool at some point in the last 5-10 years--putting different threads on the tool where it takes the head?
At the moment, I'm stuck with the two one-piece heads and no body to screw them onto.
