When comparing the two photos of the primer flash in German Salazars primer study there is a notable difference of compression of flame width, color, and secondary flame particles ahead of the main flash. These differences brought several questions to mind.
First, does the compression and color change of the flame from the small flash hole increase/decrease the temperature of the flame and what effect this might have. The second question is whether the small flame particles in front of the main flash in the large flash hole could cause inconsistent ignition.
