Question about freebore on a 6ppc

does a 60 thou freebore seem like a lot or is it normal

which bullet? itll work fine but is kinda long for like 7&3/4 ogives

I recently had a conversation with a friend about his experience with chambers cut with different makers' reamers, that cut chambers that did not seem to follow their freebore numbers. In other words, the difference in where bullets seated did not follow the reamer specs. The reamers were good in all other respects, but what a number seems to mean from one reamer company, was not the same as from another. Has anyone else run into this?

where is a jammed bullet base in the neck? as long as your preferred bullet jams halfway down the neck or so its good to go

In my opinion .060 is the standard freebore in a ppc. That freebore has worked for years! Lee
