I recently was cleaning my 300 WSM and noticed that the rubber bushings on the end of my Dewey guide were smashed and when I was pushing my brush through the guide the aluminum part of the guide was hitting the shoulder of the chamber... big drag and I freaked a bit. I don't think I did any real damage because the end of the guide was smooth and the finish was still in tact. I think if I would have done lots of damage to the shoulder the end of the guide would have been damaged first being aluminum. Of course the freak part of me thought I may have slightly scratched the shoulder. Do you guys think this is much of a problem? Please advise. Thanks,
