question about brass getting thin? causing fliers

I just put my rifle action into another stock and it aint shooting worth a darn..

after working on it a little with some sand paper it is some better, but I am still
getting the damn fliers..My brass winchester 308 has been loaded 9 times now as well
as full length resized..I got to thinking today...Do you suppose it is possible some of the brass
is thinner than the others, therefor causing different pressure and be the cause of the
fliers..Sometimes I can get 3 shots at 200 yards you could cover with a quarter, and
then 2 out ...I am using a steady rest for load testing, trying to take out as much
human error as possible...So tell me what you thing...John

Most likely your bedding. What type of rifle ? What do you use to gauge conditions? flags? What was the accuracy before you changed stocks? Have you played with the action screws torque? Describe your steady rest. If it's a light sporter barrel, I'd only do 3-shot groups.

Try some new Winchester brass & see if the problem continues. If it does, problems with the rifle or scope.

If it does not, either try annealing the older brass, segregate the brass that's causing the wild shots, or throw it out.

All of the above.

Changing the stock probably had the most effect. Chances are if the brass has the same number of firings it's all about the same amount of "thin". If it's not splitting necks or hasn't developed a groove inside near the web, consider one or more of the previous suggestions and don't worry about the brass yet.

"I just put my rifle action into another stock and it aint shooting worth a darn.."

Does this make any alarms go off? ;)

I DONT GET IT MATE Please splain self

You obviously didn't have any problem with the way your rifle was shooting before changing stocks.
You also said "after working on it a little with some sand paper it is some better, but I am still getting the damn fliers.."
Which means to me....that you probably had/have a bedding issue.
After 9 firings on your brass, it probably wouldn't hurt to try some new brass, but your brass "getting thin" is most likely not the answer.
Sorry if you misunderstood what I posted before. :)
