QD Mount for F Class shooting

I have only one competition scope (March 10-60 HM), and 2 ftr rifles. I was thinking of using a Spuhr QD mount (one piece) to be able to switch between the two rifles. (I do have the weight allowance). Any disadvantage in accuracy in the Spuhr QD over non QD rings/mounts?

Way Sphur ?
I have had this thought !!! Two Rifles same 20min. Base. One Scope say 30mm Badger or Night-force Rings.
Mark the Base on each Rifle record Zeros .
Long Run Money saved for Beer or Bullets.

Or Make you a deal on Scope with Rings and Level ???????

You can certainly do this, but return to zero with any QD mount is a potential issue. If you're planning on using a single scope regularly on more than one rifle, there really isn't another "good" choice as properly re-mounting a scope in rings every time you switch it between rifles would be a massive PITA if you have to do it very often. I have a NF 5.5-22x50 scope mounted in a LaRue QD mount that occasionally gets moved back and forth between a few different rifles. I usually have to tweak the zero a bit after switching, but nothing major. After the scope has been [re-]mounted on a different rifle, the LaRue QD mount seems to be quite stable in terms of maintaining point-of-impact (POI). However, these are not my F-Class rifles, so I'm less concerned about any issues involved with swapping the scope back and forth. Nonetheless, as long as the QD mount you choose is reasonably solid once it has been attached (i.e. maintains POI), the only thing you really would have to deal with would be any [slight] return to zero issues, which shouldn't be too much trouble. I'm not sure you can ever find a QD scope mount that maintains POI as well as a scope permanently mounted in quality set of rings, but whether the difference would be enough to create issues during a match is something that would need to be determined empirically.

I shoot XTC and I use a Bobro single lever mount and take scopes off the rifle when I leave the firing line or change scopes between match stages (which is legal for match rifle but not service rifle). I have tested for change in zero and do not find any measurable change. Obviously they must be at a consistent location on the rail. This is good enough for XTC but would need to be tested for F Class application. I think it is all in tolerances for the mount and the rail which relates to cost.

Same here.

Here's a test of the Bobro ability to RTZ.

Thank you gentlemen. I will think this over again.
I got below reply from Spuhr

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email. Yes, if the QDP levers are correctly adjusted for the rail you should have no issues shooting long strings as described, and you should also have excellent repeatability when removing and re-attaching the mount to the same position on the rail. Please see this video for instructions on how to adjust the levers:

Med vänlig hälsning/Best regards,

I've never used a quick release scope mount so I can't comment on them but you can swap a scope between rifles with a regular mount. You just have to loosen a couple of nuts, move scope to other rifle and retorque mount.

20 moa Picatinny rail on your rifles, notebook and pencil, good rings on your scope, same location on rail and switch between as many rifles as you want.
