Purchasing Firearm/ Actions

Often the smaller FFL holders don’t show up on the listing sites. Pawn shops or some hardware stores who may deal in hunting outdoor goods are places to check. Any local ranges or gun clubs will know individuals who may be FFL holders..

What is the Process ,when there are no local FFL Dealers, when purchasing one, I Know they have to be Sent to a FFL Holder. It would be Purchased form the Accurate Shooter
Site
You then go to a non local FFL who will receive it and transfer it to you. Are you looking for a way around this??? There isn't one.

Damn good thing all FFLs don't think this way!

A guy can run his license as he pleases, provided he follows the rules. I don't actively solicit them. That said, if you ask nicely, are not a PITA calling the minute UPS delivers wanting to do paperwork, I'll generally do them w/o charge. That was my point before, see if you can get a referral to guy with a license that will do paperwork but not actively soliciting transfers. It is not worth the $20 to hang a shingle out.

Years ago I had a store front in town, don't miss it. Once I closed it when I bought some farm land since I could not afford to keep both, I moved my license out of town, I kept doing business with folks I already knew, friends, coworkers, etc. & didn't want retail traffic. Way too many FFLs get robbed or worse yet. A couple years before I got my license, a guy with a license & his wife in the county west of me, were strong arm robbed & killed. The crocks stole over 100 guns. The feds caught up to them but the guy & his wife were still dead.

Gun Broker has a huge national list of current FFL licensees who will receive and transact firearms from internet sales.

The last 7 transfers I've done in my LGS were $25.00 each. I've told them they should increase their transfers charge and I've been told no and the reason why, every time.
It's all about returning customers. I just did one this past Saturday.
You should be able to find a local ffl in your area that will take care of your needs.

My gunshop charges me nothing and I don't buy much there. But that's just small town Iowa. Thanks Bob...

Another service Bob offers when the annual car cruise takes place is he lets people do burnouts in his lot. No burnouts allowed anywhere on the streets or you are ticketed....$125 was what I paid. The cops don't like Bob....
