I have shot Hart, Krieger, Chanlynn, Brux, and Obermeyer. I think that they are all about the same quality, personally I liked the Chanlynn the most because there aren't very many out there in the type of rifles that I shoot,Palma). Hart I haven't had much experience with. Boots Obermeyer is generally too busy with military stuff to actually get a barrel from, it's hard enough for me and I see him every other week during the summer. Krieger barrels are what everyone tends to get just because it's proven, I have never had a problem with them, and Jack is a good guy who is always willing to help. Right now, the barrels that I shoot the most are Brux Barrels. Sort of new, but not really, they made barrels awhile back, and then stopped for a long while, and now they are making them again for the past couple years. By far they are the easiest to get, generally takes about 2 weeks. I can personally vouche for them as one of the two barrel makers is my family. I have 3 of their barrels, two in 308, and one in 6.5. I haven't shot the 6.5 yet, but the two 308 have been sub .5 inch groups at 100 yards with iron sights on crappy sand bags. Their barrels can shoot, and if you have any problems, they are more than willing to help as they are a small manufacturing place that makes them in their spare time and aren't even up to a barrel a day. They are single cut barrels, they have been toying around with groove count as I have had a 4 groove, and two 6 grooves.
