i ordered a remington 700 replacement bolt, need help in finding a gun smith who can silver soder the bolt handle to the body

glr1, I have seen a person who posts on this forum that advertises the type of work you're looking for, His "handle" is Dans40X and if I recall correctly, offers TIG welding of bolt handles and timing of same. Hope he's checking these posts. Someone who reads this can steer you to him or vise-versa. Ron

I have had several done by Dan and have another going his way. It is a new fluted PTG bolt for a Mod. 600 build. He understands bolt timing and his tig work is as good as you will see.
Go to www.accu-tig.com. He is reasonable and very quick.

+++ about 10 for AccuTig, Dan's welded at least that many for me without a problem....wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

I also will vouch for Dan. he has welded two on for me with out haveing the action and the timing is perfect. after i sent the first bolt to him he called me and asked a couple of questions. it was back within 10 days. you can't ask for better service than that.
