PTG Action ?

Anyone ever used these actions for a benchrest or hunting gun ? Seems like a good deal for the money.

I just recently received a long and short action combo with a few upgrade option's, Fluted bolt-small firing pin-m-16 extractor, For the price and purpose on a hunting gun don't think could go wrong. i do have all the tooling to true actions and did check the bore center line and seemed very straight with the test rod. The bolt was very close in time and and machining looked good. It took a little over 2 months to get both and was happy with that. With that said i support PTG and there products a lot, Call Dave if you have question's. He's a busy guy now days but he will make time to go over the detail. Bill

Has anyone built a rifle using this PT&G version yet. I know they have been a catalog item for a while. I notice they list it as having "Precision Sniper Spacing". I'm guessing they are refring to reaming the raceway and using a larger diameter bolt. Just curious about how smooth the whole thing is.

Regardless, the price is good and you can go ahead and get a small firing pin and not have to send it to Greg Tannel later, which saves a hundred and adds a few more weeks to the wait.
