My experience with PTG is positive. Great product but not quick
After placing an order, I waited a while before they shipped. Only to take my stuff to a gunsmith who must have been a close relative because he had the pieces and parts for quite a while before getting them assembled.
 
Update: called PTG yesterday, sounds like they've got about fifty 40X receivers in production, just awaiting a redesigned extractor if I understood correctly. Stan said he hopes they'll start shipping in a few weeks but it may take a bit longer, so I'll call again in a month or so.
