I resemble that statement. I seem to "buy high and sell low"Good to hear the favorable reviews from other people. I bought mine secondhand from a member here and I am well satisfied. (I know that I gave too much but it's exactly what I wanted And, in my defense, I had had a couple of whisky drinks!)
Its all good
Yes, it shoots great with a Shilen barrel. Five shot groups are around .13" at 50yd and 0.5 at 100yd, so the scores are up to me learning to deal with the wind. This is my first custom 22 so I went for a moderate cost action to try out the sport, and I like this so much now I wish I had gone all in for a top action like a 2500.Toolbox

How do you like you actions? Did you get them built ?
Were I you I would save my money and cherish the rifle you have. The chances of finding better are slim to none....Yes, it shoots great with a Shilen barrel. You're right! But my wife doesn't mind if I get another....Were I you I would save my money and cherish the rifle you have. The chances of finding better are slim to none....
I think the reference to the CF bolt is so that you can use those dinky little reloadable .22 cases (same size as .22lr) that were intended for use with jacketed bullets. I don't recall the name attached to that project, but believe it went tits-up, and the components are no longer available.I have a question. It says a centre fire bolt is also available, how does that work with that tiny cut out? Would this action be suitable for both short range bench rest(6br) and 22lr bench rest? Would it be competitive?
