If it weren't for Vudoo's V22S single shot action being available, I might've taken a chance on getting one of the PTG actions, but there's absolutely no comparison in customer service between the two companies. Guess that's why I've got two V22S actions... And I really dislike having to post this, because when I bought my 1st lathe and started doing barrel work, I bought all my reamers and a fair amount of other tooling from PTG. But it took over 6mo to get a 22 Grinch resize reamer from them, the most recent PTG purchase I've made.

I know mine was built by Jerry’s shop. Talked to him a few times on the TX. My action did not have the “filler piece” machined into the action. Not sure where you got your info?

I stand corrected. On my Stiller, the filler is not machined as part of the receiver even though it looks like it. It is permanently attached to the receiver, doesn’t use a spring. I would have thought it was machined but Dan K. stated it was permanently attached on the Rimfire Accuracy Forum.

I wonder if things have gotten worse at PTG since the last time I ordered custom M700 one-piece bolts? I had three bare M700 short actions - no bolts, triggers, or anything else, just a bare receiver. I ordered three one-piece short action bolts, all with the .062" dia firing pin hole, complete striker assemblies to match, mini-16 extractor cuts & kits, and had them within a couple of months - which, since they're made to order, was pretty reasonable during the covid pandemic.
When texman says he ordered a 'bolt body' I'm wondering if he meant a bolt body without the bolt handle already attached? I did that once before they started making the one piece bolts, and not having a really sturdy fixture to hold the bolt handle in place while I silver soldered it to the bolt body, had issues getting the handle timed for correct primary extraction. Decided it was far simpler & better overall to buy their one-pc bolts from there on out, and have had excellent results with several of them since - no issues with correct bolt timing or extraction on any of the half-dozen or so purchased.
