PT&G, above and beyond.

I just had to recognize Pacific Tool and Gauge for their outstanding customer service. After waiting 139 days for my gunsmith to rebarrel my action it arrived with what I thought was a defective bolt head. The ejector was much too high and rather than eject a case it just shoved the nose down to the floor of the receiver. Naturally my gunsmith said that it was my problem so I contacted PT&G. I spoke to Brian Bailey and he was very receptive to my problem and offered to replace the head. He asked if I could send a photo of the bolt face, which I did. The next day he contacted me and said that what I had was an upside down bolt head for a left eject receiver. However he offered to replace it anyway! I called him back and told him that this obviously wasn't his fault and that I would just pay for the replacement myself. But he insisted that he would send me the replacement at no charge as this was not the first time this particular "Savage Guru" had used PT&G parts in a questionable manner.
Within the shooting sports industry I have encountered a lot of high quality customer service but PT&G really went above and beyond on this one.

Sounds like folks should just ask for him when they call. Theres a bunch of good folks there but you have to dodge an arm bar to get to em

Not to be the wet blanket here, but lets see when he gets it.

I got the wrong extractor for a 223 bolt, they charged me for the correct one and would not credit me for the wrong one they sent, (I never bothered to send it back), then they sent the wrong one the second time. That bolt took almost a yr to assemble from order to the first round fired.

Dusty, I have a list of names @PTG, and when I call back and ask for
a particular person, no one seems to ever heard of them.
I finally Talked to Dave yesterday, to get a refund issued thats
been pending since last DEC. I'm not holding my breath on this
happening. LDS

Already have it in my garage. It took 4 days.
