PSS stock width?

How wide is the Remington PSS forend?
Is it wider than the Varmint/Sendero stocks?

Alf, I believe the Rem PSS forend is wider than the new Sendero II stocks but I don't know about the older ones that they put on the original Sendero and varmint rifles. Sorry man. Bill

I've got new and old varmint/ Sendero regular and II stocks.
They all measure 2" at the tip of the forend.
Just curious if the PSS's were wider.
If so, they'd take a bigger barrel more "comfortably".

Wish I had one to measure for you man. Sorry, but I sold my Rem about 6 months ago. Just bought a FN special police rifle today.
