Today it's an expensive toy, but then again the first sustained powered flight only happened with a big headwind, lasted less than a minute, and flew 852 feet, and 63 yrs later man walked on the moon.

Today it's an expensive toy, but then again the first sustained powered flight only happened with a big headwind, lasted less than a minute, and flew 852 feet, and 63 yrs later man walked on the moon.

Yes, but many, many things just don't work out in the end. Back in the 70's James Burke did a television series called Connections, which showed how invention takes all kinds of twists and turns and ends up with something completely different.

But yah gotta hand it to those who try . . .
