Protektor rear bag care?

Living in Az where its very dry, my rear bag needs some help. The leather is dried out and leaves residue on the stock. Does anyone use a certain leather care product that wont make it sticky to the stock? I guess I can always buy a new one but it only lasts a year or so

Use mink oil or any kind of leather conditioner. After the oil has been soaked in, wipe off and cover with baby powder, or something similar. Wipe excess off when finished.
I find placing a towel under bipod and rear bag also holds everything a little more steady. Your milage may vary.

Furniture paste wax (Johnson's works well) buffed out with a terry cloth towel works for me. It does not seem to attract dirt shooting from prone off a mat. I use Teflon powder between the ears as a friction reducer and it does not make the Teflon cake either.

I have used Saddle Soap on mine. Not sure if that is good or not, but have used it on other Leather things over the years.
