Please Help with rear bag suggestions

I am having a new 600-1000yard bench rest rifle built and would appreciate some rear bag suggestions.

Rifle specs:

Bat MB Action
Krieger 7mm 1-8.75 Twist 30" HV Chambered in .284 win
Laminated wood ST 1000L stock
Jewel Trigger

I have a Farley and a Sinclair Competition Front rest.
Curious what rear bag recommendations you guys have.
Leather or Cordura with the wood stock? Ear style? Ear spacing? I believe the ST 1000 has a 3/4" flat bottom on the rear of stock.

Thanks for any help you can send my way.

Eric

Protektor custom leather Doctor bag with cordura ears and a handle. They will custom make it with your specified distance between the ears. They are good folks to work with and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. You will like it. Get it pre-filled with heavy sand. Cut a hole in your mat for it.

+2 for Protektor... Since they are, or at least can be, totally custom, you can have them made any way you want. HINT: Most of my rear bags eventually bulge in the middle effectively lowering the height of the bag. I had them do 2 things to help stop this. I had them DOUBLE wrap the body to keep the bulge away>>.and it works GREAT.. Also I had the base made 3/4" thick. This suits me almost perfectly... The ears are set apart exactly to fit an MBR Tooley stock.. They are excellent people..

+1 re Protektor AND getting the handle...........

I recently bought a DR Long Range bag from them. Had it filled with heavy sand. Bought it with the handle figuring it would be a "nice to have".

After getting it and feeling the weight, that handle went from "nice to have" to "necessity". Holy smokes is that thing heavy. Not having the handle would be a royal pain.
