Brought my first Tikka Lite T3 last fall in 243. Great rifle - love it. Very accurate and great handling in field. Smoothest bolt I've ever seen.

Yes Tanner I am in the process of ordering one now, I am not sure which screws though, I may have to wait until I find out. Thanks for the site.

Wayne I ran into some problems with the screws, now that you reminded me. I ordered from Optics Planet and they didn't have the choice between Metric and Standard threads (http://www.opticsplanet.net/egw-tikka-t3-picatinny-rail-scope-mount.html). I bet they are metric on the Tikka. I ended up going down to BI-Mart sporting goods and going through a bunch of the cheap weaver scope bases until I found a screw that worked, and bought the cheap bases just for the screws.

"Other". I like fully custom rifles. However, that Tika was the finest factory rifle I'v ever shot - and I've tuned a lot of rifles/loads for people. If I had more energy, I would post picture of the groups...though I gave him the target so he'd know he has.
