Promethius powder dispenser

I read - or I think I read - about these powder dispensers on 6mmbr.com. Half way through, I wanted to raise my hand to be allowed to go to the bathroom for a smoke in the boy's can. I also thought I should be wearing a hockey helmet and having a telethon in my honor.

Um, I tried finding a more feature-oriented explanation of the unit and a picture, but the website is just a search engine and there is no mention of this thing that I can find anywhere... Any hints where to learn a bit more about the unit and a little less about stats and algebra?

Yes, the article posted here is a bit technogeekish...but then, Brand, the guy that invented and built the contraption, is somewhat of a smart guy! So thats sorta going to happen when such an article is put together about such an instrument.

As for the Prometheus, what, exactly, would you like to know? I own one and I can tell you that they are pretty darn neato torpedo. Very few have been made,I do not know the exact number) but I do know that most of us that are lucky enough to own one wont part with them. Mine isnt even fully functioning as my light sensor dohicky thingamabob has a bad part that I havent gotten from Brand yet but, honestly, I am not 100% sure I would use it anyhow, but I dont know for sure as I got it and it didnt work so maybe after I use it I will think its the best thing since sliced bread!

I know of no website you can go to learn more about them. Brand isnt even with SSS anymore. I do know that during our discussions in the past he has talked of building a more robust and hopefully faster unit. Dont get me wrong, the Pro is pretty fast, but its not as fast as some folks think it is. It is faster than a DPS or RCBS, etc, but you aint whisking out charges like you would on say a Harrells. But, of course, you can get your charges to one kernel of powder if you want and you pay attention.

If you got specific questions, I will be glad to try and answer them.

Sorry, I should probably remove the link. The Prometheus website has been "offline" for quite some time. Brand Cole is pretty busy and, while he's still building a unit now and then, production has tapered off.
