Is the Prometheus powder measure still made? If they are how do I contact the person who makes them? If anyone has one for sale or could point me in the direction of someone who has one for sale I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Ok, just talked to Brand Cole the builder, great guy. He is still designing the new machine and hopes to be in production again next year sometime. There are a good number of folks who have one on backorder so if you want one you might want to call and get on the list.

Hmm, do you own both? I have a Sartorius GD-503 with auto trickler/thrower and the Gen II Prometheus. They are both great products but definitely not the same. You can't mount your FX120i over the press and drop powder straight into the case. It certainly does not throw as fast as a Prometheus and I never get overthrows on the Pro. like the auto trickler (or any other trickler of the same design) regularly does. Also, Brand will be coming out with an upgrade that doubles the speed of dropping powder...seen it and it's amazing. With that upgrade, nothing will come close to dropping powder as precisely, error free, and with the speed of a Prometheus. Now, if you if you don't want to spend $5K, aren't shooting that many rounds per year, and don't mind taking a bit longer to get the job done, the Auto Trickler is a superb product. But is the FX120 with auto trickler better than a Prom.?....not!
