Problems attaching photos?

Some of the new iPhones generate photos that are WAY too large (3000+ pixels). A good file size is 600 to 800 pixels wide. That's plenty.

If you're uploading from a phone, set the image size to "small" or "medium". With a new iPhone you may need an App.

You may also find the click and drag function works better.

On an Android I've had an issue on my medical sites sending attachments using the default browser. As someone else has noted, chrome works when the Samsung browser does not (this was sending test results to my Doctors).

That's weird about the Samsung browser just stopped working. I have been using mine for many years.

Guys,
If you are using a desktop, the simplest thing is to just go to the folder with the images.

1. Make sure the file size is under 10 megabytes. We suggest images should not exceed 800 pixels width.

2. Mouse over the image in the file folder. Highlighted it will look like this on Windows.

3. Simply drag it into the frame.

Done. In 2 seconds.

There is also a small photo icon attachment control that you can use, but with a Windows Desktop just drag the image into the frame. Takes a couple seconds.

Yes the click and drag works well - that is how I have been doing it now.

I have photos in two areas in my desktop. Until the last month or so on this forum only, I have no luck going a right click on the photo, click the copy icon and paste it on the forum. I can still do it on other forums,. but not on this one anymore.

Forum Boss: Butch, there has been no software change in the Forum in the last month. Please try just highlighting the photo in your image folder, then dragging it into your post. Try dragging rather than "copy and paste".

The issue could be a software change on your computer, or you may be using a browser with issues. Do NOT use FireFox!! It has many problems.

Also, you need to check the size of your images -- if they are too big (in megabytes), that could be the issue.
