Problem with Sinclair Competition Rest?

I bought a Sinclair Competition Front rest last year, and it seems that lately I'm having troubles keeping the center post up. It will stay up for a few shots then will collapse. Is this common or is it just mine? If I crank the stop down as hard as I can it seems to help but then I can't hardly get it lose.

I made a wrench that fits the knobs on that rest so you can really tighten them down. Otherwise yes, they tend to come loose.

I dont sell them, but I could probably make a few. I just bored a hole in a piece of al plate so it fit over the knob then attached a piece or rod in the hole so it would key into one of the grooves that is cut into the knob.

I made a bolt with a wing nut welded on the head and put it in the opposite hole. It will also take the wobble out of center post when both are tight.
