PROBLEM SOLVED Help with a Dillon Square Deal B

Stony

Silver $$ Contributor
I'm trying to set up a Dillon Square Deal B (Used) and can't figure out how to set up the fail safe return.
When I lower the handle it should raise the fail safe to trip the powder measure.
However, it just separates at the bottom? Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

In the video, it looks like the rod end (w/pin) goes thru a second plate. I only see one plate in your photo…?

Call Dillon, especially if you did not get a instruction manual, since you were buying it used. Dillon will help and probably send you one for free also. Going to horse's mouth, so to speak, is best thing to do.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!! Thanks for the help everyone, especially the manual. Turns out I didn't have the powder funnel installed. I then ran a case through as suggested and it actuated the powder measure and seemed to function as it should.
