Probably last of the season groundhogs.

Bright sunny yesterday about 60 degrees, saw 4 took 4 fat as heck.
Monday near 70 may try one more time before weather changes.
All shots at about 100 to 200 yards give or take, last cutting of alfalfa near woods.17 hornet.
I freeze these in 5 gallon buckets in an old chest freezer, in dead of winter bury the buckets in the ground level, coyotes will spend lots of time digging and scratching to get the spoils,i'll be watching from one of three blinds.

Mine ends the last week in September because archery season starts in early October and the farms are off limits for varmint hunting even though October is sometimes the best time to hunt the hogs.

We have so many deer season in PA that you need a spread sheet to figure it all out. :(

Oh well, more "seeds" for next year.

The only time I can't hunt the gh fields is the weekend, during deer season.I get days off during the week when others are working.I don't hunt deer till it gets cold, backyard is at least 4-5 thousand acres.
