Priming difficulties

I bought some ADG brass has anyone had problems priming? Seems not to like Rem 9 1/2M or Fed 215M primers, extremely hard to get them to seat.

Ive been having a similar problem. It seems like the pockets are tight. I have been rather nervous seating my Federal primers and have been leaving indentations in the cup.

What diameter do you get when you measure them?

I'd probably be inclined to use a primer pocket cutter. I used to swage my military brass, but have since switched over to using cutters. They provide for very consistent primer pockets. I think they would get your pockets the way you want them.

recently loaded 200 cases of ADG 300 WSM for fireforming with zero issues Fed 210M primers

Swaged the pockets, no joy, going to ream them.

Winchester primers may be a little looser for the first firing.

The directions with My Lee Auto Prime says “Do Not Use With FEDERAL Primers”.

I use an F&M Priming Tool for FEDERAL Primers, and cci41’s, etc.

I had a resent issue seating Russian primers in Norma 308s on the Dillon. Had to change to the old RCBS priming die thingy. Nothing like a bit of leverage.

If that’s what he’s using with those primers and he also had those directions, what else is there to say?

I've had the same problems with adg.....pain in the ass!

I just saw your post, the Lee might not be helping matters.
The 21st century tool has a LOT more leverage.

Been using Lee for decades, never had problems w/ R-P, WW, HH, Fed cases.
