Primers

timeout

I just purchased two boxes of New Rem. BR brass. This is basically .308 brass with small primer pockets. I am making 30X47 cases from these and want to fire form a few to get dies made. I had an old, actually 40 year old supply, of CCI magnum small rifle primers here. I installed 4 of these with a hand held primer installation tool and they went in extremely easy. I recently used some of these in once fired LC 5.56 brass and for the most part, they installed with the normal amount of resistance that I expect to feel. My question is does anyone know if there are brands and types of SR primers that might be slightly larger diameter than the CCI SR magnums? Thanks.
