Primers

I had to change my make of primers to Remington 7 1/2 small rifle.
Will this change the point of impact.
I shoot medium size varmint at ranges 100m to 200m.

There's a good chance this will change your group overall. POI & group,sd & es). Whole new set of dynamics as you change.

Any time you change a component, you should always start at the beginning again just to be on the safe side of things.......

A common answer to a question that general is,'it depends'. One certainty is that it will not be exactly the same. It could be very close depending on your previous load. Back off a little and work up.

Good primers by the way. At least they have been in a couple of my rifles.

I suppose the best way is to load some up and go punch some paper.

The load i use is 25.5gn of AR2206h 55gn nosler shots or 55gn v-max out of a tikka t3 varmint in 223.

For varmint, coyote size down to wood chuck) shooting out to 200 meters it probably won't matter much unless you like taking head shots on the chucks and haven't verified zero and groups at that range.
On paper it probably will matter slightly, either groups get tighter than before or maybe open up a bit or impact different from poa.
like said before load up a few of your pet rounds and go see if there is any discernable difference.
good luck killin the varmints

Species8472 what primers were you using? I will trade you if you want I have CCI 400 & 450 My loads were originally tested with the Remington 7 1/2 and can't find them here locally.

I live a bit to far away from you.
