I'm well aware of Speer, CCI, & Federal history first all united under Blount Industries then ATK and now Vista Outdoors.
Depends on definition of "soon" plus whatever Vista Outdoors business decisions are point forward short term & long term on using primers to manufacture factory ammunition vs sell as hand loading components. This article indicates Remington was only operating the Lonoke AR facilty at 10% capacity prior to the sale, I speculate that's probably due in part to companies unwilling to extend credit to an obviously sinking ship to do things like purchase raw materials. But the article says Vista Outdoors has begun recalling workers and implementing COVID-19 measures at the Remington Lonoke facility leveraging efforts already implemented at similar CCI, Speer, & Federal facilities. At 10% capacity staffing was evidently so low Remington hadn't implemented much in the way of COVID-19 measures before the sale to Vista Outdoors.

This article, also posted elsewhere, mentions something I've been saying for quite a while (elsewhere) on the impact of lack of imported factory ammunition and components during this most recent and continuing situation. I don't think that was much of a factor during prior such shortages, JMO & admittedly fallible memory.
