Primer Pockets Question

A friend of mine purchased some 223 ammo at his LGS. It is Fusion MSR and says Federal made brass and features a harder case head for exceptional primer retention. He says it looks like there is an insert in the primer pockets and also that he had to run his primer pocket uniformer into the pocket in order to get a new primer to seat. Has anyone here ever seen or reloaded this brass? Thanks for your help.

Thanks. He just texted me a picture. Kind of fuzzy, but it does look like some type of steel insert.

I just Googled it and found out that it says boxer primed and reloadable. I should have tried that first before bothering you guys. Thanks!
