Primer Motherload

Those are mostly really old. That Federal and CCI packaging has not been used in production for many years.
Hopefully they were stored properly. If not, I hope you’re panic and greed didn’t make you pay too much for them. I’ve seen older primers that were subjected to humidity all fail to fire or hang fire.
Given the same circumstances, what would you have done?

Nothing new here. Same thing happened in 2008. I’ve never bought in panic and I purchase what I need with enough left over for dark times. A box here and a box there over the years and when this all hit again, I didn’t even bat an eye. Actually sold about 12k primers to people in need recently for $50 per 1K just to help them out.

Id bet most of those primers he bought will sit and rot away long before they are ever used. A serious shooter who would actually shoot that much would never buy old primers like that. People that panic buy like that are part of the problem.

But to each their own I guess. Only my opinion.

LOL, you do you and I’ll do me. If it helps you sleep better at night they shoot just fine ;) and I paid less for them than they cost when they were made, just letting you know in case that kept you up at night as well.

I already had about 30,000 “NEW” primers on hand and I assure you it wasn’t a panic buy nor will “They Rot” It was a situation where I bought a ton of primers dirt cheap for BR2’s and BR4’s to help out some guys. If your trying to make yourself feel better I’ve given away about 35,000 primers for free so far so I’m beating you lol. I understand it’s your opinion and your smarter than me and that’s ok I guess but the guys I’ve given free primers to we’re sure happy I’m dumb and a panic buyer ;)

Green with envy much?

Besides, I'm betting they're corrosive...;-)
