Has anyone heard of the new factories coming online in the US ? I remember reading about one if not two new players building factories.

There is one in Texas. Online now, they sent promotional samples to some people. It’s called expansion industries

The first EI samples sent out didn’t do well, so give them time.

That isn’t difficult to understand cause there is a long learning curve and we got to give them time to work it out.


ETA: you can watch some folks test them on YouTube if you like, but I can spoil it for you and tell you there were failures along the way.

At first I was disappointed I didn’t get any samples… Ill wait, they will get it down Im sure.

Fiocchi is building a lead free primer manufacturing plant in Arkansas but it won't on line for probably 2 years

I was wondering the same.
I'm thinking some of the original investors were getting nervous - perhaps they had an option to call their loan => Expansion may have sent them knowing they still needed work but did it to show they are able to actually produce primers - just need a little more work.

If it was easy there would be little mom and pop primer shops all around. Boutique bullet makes are dependent on the jacket makers. Maybe adapt flintlocks to cased ammo. Only really hard holders would be able to shoot offhand!

Probably because of the fire/explosion liability.

Would you want to underwrite the insurance policy?

Anybody here used Ginex? I needed large rifle primers pretty bad so went and bought a batch of them from Graf's. If no one has, I'll post a report on how they do. I have a feeling they'll do at least as good as military primers.

My personal feeling is extra factorys aren't going to make a big difference. By the time they get online the shortage will be lessened. Right now everybody is sending them to whoever is contracting to build the new 6.8 ammo for the Spear. Once they have the numbers (X-billion), there'll be a flood of primers out there. They can produce a million a day. Two-three years?

IF you are looking at First Breach, pricing has not been announced on the website. If you are looking at the 1000 drop down block, scroll a tad further.

I think that's what is going on here. If you click on one of those, it takes you the main page for that type of primer where it says pricing is coming.

Or, maybe it's just to discourage pre orders
