Primer diamenter differences ?

I noticed one brand of primers seem to be smaller diamenter
Than others
I thought I had found loose pockets
But I found they only felt loose with one of 3 brands of primers

Any know of a larger diamenter primer that May exstend brass life ?

In just the last couple of weeks I have been trying Wolf "Performance" primers. The Large Rifle Primer is definitely larger, as it takes more force to seat them in my cases.. They are larger than any of the CCI or Federal primers.

I've used this table several different times.

I have S&B small rifle primers that fit loose in most brass. Tossed about 20 cases before comparing to my other primers. Not sure about the LRP.

Wolf/Tula primers will fit tighter in the pockets than the others.
They sure do. Last time I loaded some into new brass I thought something was wrong. The do work well after shooing 215's......

The un plated (brass color) WLR & WLRM primers I have are undersize and fit loose in good pockets.

Winchester forgot the primer diameter specification when making these unplated!
