I know a bloke how wants to buy a M1 and 2 mags but he is unsure on a good price. Any thoughts cheers

Depends greatly on the maker and condition, if it's just for a shooter and is a US contract builder in 60% condition it should be around $400 top dollar US.

If it's a Plainfield or Universal Commercial made one it would seem that you should be able to get one for around $250-$300 or less as they are really more of a hammer than a rifle IMO.

try www.odcmp.org for the m1 . these are mil surplus and the staff there can help you figure out how (if) you can get it down under. Lots of choices and price ranges. Good luck...cheers
