Price for Rem 700 SS 223 Action

Anyone know what the going rate is for a Like New Remington 700 Stainless 223 Bolt Face Action might be? What all is included when buying a action?

The link shows what Brownells sells them for. Keep in mind that price doesn't include shipping or a transfer fee. Transfer fee will usually cost $25-$40 dollars depending on the FFL dealer. From Brownells: The complete bolt, trigger (x-mark), and the action body. No recoil lug, action screws, or bottom metal. A lot folks buy a complete rifle, take it apart, sell what they can, and use the action for the build. Brian Brown

Brownells no longer offer them. Says Discontinued by the factory. So would that increase the price?

How bad you want the action increases the price. I would check and see how much a rifle with the action you want costs and go from there. Like I said if you buy a rifle you can sell the parts that you don't need and probably make $50-$100 dollars depending on the rifle parts you had for sale. My purchase price for the action would have to be a good bit under what the rifle cost or I would just buy the rifle, scrap it out, and use the action from the rifle for the build. Now all this assumes you can tear a rifle a part and that you are willing to try to sell the parts. Once again the action is worth what you want to pay for it. I wouldn't pay over what brownell's had listed. JMO, Brian Brown.
