Yea, it's very thick and very solid. 2 by 6 framing with two-by-fours on 12 inch center underneath a piece of half inch OSB on top of that is 3/4 OSB on top of that is 1 inch sassafras

All that extra support may come in handy some day (for landing a helicopter) that is. LOL

Once you finish your walls and ready for permanent use, (even with all that beef) a 1/4" lag into a couple of those 2X4 studs will really lock it down. While your bench is still moveable, I got an idea for your bench, but I need to take a couple pics first that I'll pm you.
