Years ago I saw it but not recently.Anyone ever see primed rifle brass for sale?
Yes, years {60’s-70’s} ago it was a “thing”… I think Hazmat killed that off.Anyone ever see primed rifle brass for sale?
I know this question has been asked and brought up a couple of times but wanted to see if anybody's done any real testing on it
How long can you leave a size case prepped and ready to load before you need to load it, that has any major effect on accuracy
The only thing I do before loading is run an expander in the necks the night before , and load the next day .
Ok as I have not found that it’s needed but if you feel it’s needed keep on doing it.Because Brass has a memory , and it will try to return to it's previous shape and size . If cases sit for a extended period , just run a expander through them and see what you get . Many , but not all cases will have changed the inside dimension , if only by tenths , but that WILL have a effect on neck interference .
Thirty-five years of Aerospace Tool and Die did teach me a little about metals , and their reactions to changes in temperature and humidity .
Not trying to start a debate on the issue , and I don't "feel" it's needed to be more accurate . I have proven it is a good way to do it , since my S/D numbers run between 4.2 and 6.2 . That alone tells me my neck interference is very consistent , along with consistent and close velocities . And the fairly High scores I shoot , on a very tough Range .Ok as I have not found that it’s needed but if you feel it’s needed keep on doing it.

I don't say everyone should do it this way , but I'm going to continue doing it , as it works for me , as I just won the Az. State Mid-Range 600 F-TR on Friday .
As long as you brush ID of neck right before loading you won’t see any down side to in regard to how long it sat sized before use…. I like aged brass actually..I know this question has been asked and brought up a couple of times but wanted to see if anybody's done any real testing on it
