Premier reticle boosted 20-50 x 50 LRT Leupold

Hello, greetings from France . Excuse my poor english.

I owned a new rifle, action and stock Kelby's Stolle, barrel Lothar Walther, light bench rest profile ), chambered 6mm BR, twist 8', 25 inches long.

I want shoot competitions, from 300 meters to 900 meters, with it.

I want buy a new scope.

Is anybody use a Premier Reticles Leupols boost 20-50 X 50 mm ?
How is the brightness at 50 X ?
I s there some distorsions at 50 X ?

Well, is it a perfect purchase, 1050 USD ) ?

Thank's for answers.

Welcome to the forum!

If you are used to Nightforce or S&B glass, you will be dissapointed with the leup 50x, but it is most definately functional and useful at full power.

I have been shootin the 50x for 2yrs now and like it, but i think i will try a 12-42 BR nightforce soon. THe only reason for the switch is to get better resolution.

The leup will get the job done, and gives you TWICE the elevation adjustment for shooting long. But if you want top glass, and can sacrifice the adjustment flexability, i'd go with the 42xNF

I have a Premier Reticle boosted Leupold to 14.5-35 and a NightForce 8x32 NSX and can not tell any difference in the sight picture, both are excellent.

Welcome to the board!

I have one on my 1K heavy gun,300 WSM) and like it VERY much!
I am getting another one boosted the same way.
I have nothing,Nightforce) to compare it to. Never looked through a NF.

BUT... I was not disapointed by getting it boosted, and, I think jbr1000 had a hand in talking me into doing it!
